Projects in the works today.....

Here's a photo of a v-neck top down sweater I'm finishing with a really soft merino wool and silk yarn in purple (my dear departed mother's favorite color). I never choose purple, but it's been nice thinking of her while I work on it. I love working in the round like this so I don't have to sew all the seams together.

....as you know knitters don't just have one project going so here's a photo of my other project. They're my Ohio State "Go Bucks" socks made with this wonderful yarn from Cider Moon before they went out of business....shoot, I really liked their stuff. In the sewing room I am working on a baby quilt. I'm at the machine quilting stage and hope to finish it soon. In the meantime, I went upstairs and found Lily relaxing on the couch which she's not supposed to be doing.
